Master Data Finance Lead

Contract Duration 7+ months

Pay rate up to $50- $65/hr

Team or Function Overview:

The Director of Master Data's team is tasked with optimizing business processes to drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve long-term success at our client through the implementation of SAP S4/HANA. By standardizing, evolving, innovating, and anchoring the processes we will help achieve the company goals and deliver value for our customers.

Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Master Data, the Master Data Finance Lead will drive the design, standard operating procedures, and process implementation of all Master Data collection, enrichment, and approvals relating to the Finance business processes in SAP S4/HANA and SAP Group Reporting.

As the Master Data Finance Lead, you are in charge of driving the creation of the Finance Master Data collection processes in collaboration with the Finance GPOs, and data requirements which will help trigger and enable the business transformation for the organization, while partnering with all impacted businesses and functions within the Standard Industries landscape.

You will be asked to create processes and standards that drive consistent and quality data delivered on time and on budget.

You will work directly with the business subject matter experts to define project outcomes and drive decision-making.

With the support of the Director of Master Data Management, you will drive the transformation ensuring an industry-leading best practice end deliverables.

Essential Duties:

Develop best practices and standards for SAP and Group Reporting, while ensuring documentation of the processes is fully captured for sustainability; well beyond the lifespan of the project.

Build strong, collaborative partnerships with functional experts as well as impacted Sister Companies of Standard Industries impacted by Group Reporting.

Write, maintain, and publish Finance Master Data documentation, including training material as required.

Ensure business needs are addressed through proactive priority management with business leaders.

Provide updates and training, where appropriate, to MDM/Finance stakeholders where new processes are introduced or existing ones changed.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, focusing on business leaders and project team members.

Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to define strategic Master Data process objectives and key success factors.

Support the implementation of Master Data Governance and Strategy

Be a champion for the use of standard MDM procedures and robust MDM governance disciplines. Advocate and facilitate wherever possible that all parties

Identify opportunities to improve data quality metrics, agree with the MDM team, and implement in partnership with the business

Be problem-solving oriented to continuously drive value across the organization

Job Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field required

Minimum 5 years related experience required.

SAP S4/Hana experience required

SAP Group Reporting experience at a global level required

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
