Job description

Seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Work (LSW) and or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to work in a School - Based Health Center as an independent clinical practitioner providing psychological and psychosocial counseling in Paterson, NJ. We seek accountability, empowerment, collaboration, compassion and results while maintaining the integrity of the Health N' Wellness Services model for integrative medical and mental health services. This is a flexible part time position 5 to 6 hours per day 3 to 4 days a week depending on your schedule availability during the school year calendar. Pay rate is commensurate with your Professional License and years employed in current field. We do provide Clinical Supervision toward your clinical license. You must have a New Jersey Professional License. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Education : Masters Degree in Social Work

Licenses/Certification: LCSW, LSW or LPC, LAC

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

Three (3) years of social work field experience

Working knowledge/experience in case management

Experience in psychosocial assessment and therapeutic counseling

Knowledge and/or experience with tele mental health

.Principal Accountabilities

Provides individual, group and case management to students

Develops psychosocial treatment assessments and treatment plans

Establishes good working relationships with clinic staff, students, families and school staff. The LCSW must be able to work collaboratively with parents, community service providers, clinic staff and school staff to promote student emotional wellbeing and positive social skills.

Completes and maintains notes/documentation in the EHR (Electronic Healthcare Record).

.Ensures safe care to students, staff and visitors and adheres to all Health N' Wellness Service procedures
