Job description

Title: AWS Solution Architect/application developer with Python Location: Piscataway, NJ Duration: 6 months Position type: W2 contract Primary Skills: AWS , Python, 40+ differnet application development. We are looking for some one with very strong development background and is currently a Solution Architect. Secondary Skills: Informatica , SQL and .NET (Nice to have) Technical Expertise: 1. Python Proficiency: o Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. o Understanding of Python libraries and frameworks relevant to the project (e.g., Pyspark o Implementing best practices for Python development. 2. AWS Proficiency: o Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc. o Architecting scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. o Managing AWS resources and optimizing cloud expenses. Leadership and Coordination: 1. Team Management: o Leading a diverse team of software developers, possibly with various levels of expertise. o Distributing tasks effectively based on team members' strengths. o Ensuring the professional growth of team members through mentorship and training. 2. Client Stakeholder Coordination: o Acting as the primary point of contact between the development team and the client. o Understanding client requirements and translating them into technical specifications. o Managing expectations and ensuring that deliverables meet client needs. Project Management: 1. Agile Methodologies: o Implementing and managing Agile processes like Scrum or Kanban. o Conducting regular stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. o Tracking project progress using tools like JIRA or Trello. Communication: o Facilitating effective communication within the team. o Resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative team environment. o Clearly conveying project status and technical concepts to stakeholders. o Negotiating timelines and scope changes when necessary. Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise. Analyzing complex systems and making decisions based on multiple factors. Additional Considerations: Being able to work with and lead team members from varied geographical parts Certifications: Having relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, CSM) could be beneficial.
