Overview:

We're looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our PharmScript team within our Accounting & Finance department.

Job Summary:
As a Senior Bookkeeper, the ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Department with its daily operating procedures. The ideal candidate is familiar with accounting processes and accounting principles. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
Track and record banking cash activity

Post cash receipts and monitor receipt entries posted by clerks

Process AP Payments

Submit AP invoices for approval through Kwiktag

Respond to vendor inquiries

Reconcile and record Credit card Statements

Work with AP clerks to get invoice approval

Record Payroll Entries

Perform Bank Reconciliations

Assist with Monthly and Quarterly Sales and Use Tax filings

Assist in year end audits

Prepare end of month entries and other schedules as needed

Support bookkeepers and junior clerks, including training

Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is required

Associates Degree is preferred

At least 3 to 5 years Bookkeeper Experience is required

Ability to handle multiple tasks at once

Well organized and detail oriented

Knowledge of Great Plains Accounting Software is a plus

May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently

May be necessary to work extended hours as needed

May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
