Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements and scope.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for electrical construction projects.
  • Consult with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability of materials and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate accurate bidding processes.
  • Review and analyze project changes and their impact on cost and scheduling.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track and manage budgets during project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance estimating processes.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and correspondence related to projects.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
