Job description

As an IT Support Specialist at BlueHalo, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission. Your expertise will help ensure superiority in positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT). You will work alongside a team dedicated to providing essential support and knowledge to combatant commanders and joint force commanders, focusing on integrating C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations into JNWC's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for end-user devices, including laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals. Assist with software (COTS, GOTS, Web) installations and troubleshoot hardware/software issues. Configure and set up new end-user equipment, including VoIP phones and audiovisual systems. Investigate and resolve connectivity issues related to end-user and site infrastructure. Collaborate on construction project planning, offering IT specification requirements. Coordinate on-site break/fix installations with hardware maintenance providers, providing after-hours support as needed. Maintain and execute IT infrastructure inventory, ensuring accurate records of all equipment. Recommend enhancements for customer service and IT processes by researching new technologies. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Eligible and willing to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance. BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an Information Assurance Level Technician in a government consulting environment. IAT Level II Certifications (CompTIA CySA+/CompTIA Security+/EC-Council CND). Active TS/SCI level clearance.
