Job description
Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a future opportunity for a Quality Control Technician - Training Support Services for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) or "the Facility" . FLETC is host to approximately 88 participating agencies/bureaus and responsible for providing certain core instructional law enforcement programs as well as a variety of support services. FLETC has on-facility housing for approximately 1800 students and occasionally houses additional students off facility in local motel/hotels. The Facility and participating agencies have a staff of approximately 500. Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC will be responsible for Project Management, Quality Control, Equipment and Uniform Issue, Recreational Support, Audio Visual, Educational Aide Support, and Role Players. Primary Location of Work: FLETC is located at the corner of 1300 West Richey Avenue at approximately the northwest corner of the City of Artesia, New Mexico. The city is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 285 and 82. This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal. Develop and maintain a quality control plan to ensure all contract requirements are met such as scheduling and inventory, etc.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve any issues.
Report findings and corrective actions to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
Payrate: $51,277 to $61,829 Annually REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a QC/lead technician using formal QC systems/processes in related functions (e.g., scheduling, inventory).
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, physically able to perform assigned work, and be free of communicable diseases.
Submit a monthly QC report detailing inspected areas, findings, solutions, and the date the problem was corrected or status to the COR by the third business day of each month.
