Position: Group Leader I
Location: Bloomfield Plant Bloomfield, NM

Hours of work: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hrs / Wk - 5 days per week, 3 shift rotation with weekend overtime

The Group Leader I will direct the workers in one or more of the functional areas of the Bloomfield Plant which include: Electrical and Mechanical Assembly and Testing of Standard Products, Quality Assurance, Quality Document control and work schedule development. Typically, Group Leader I will supervise from 5-10 workers but may have no direct reports .

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Understands, trains employees and enforces all policies and procedures
• Supervise the day-to-day production activity of employees on shift to meet schedule deadlines
• Perform hands-on work as required with shift workers to accomplish the necessary work objectives
• Responsible for the quality and specification compliance of equipment/product work performed during the shift
• Provides turnover reporting from shift activities to other group leaders
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• 2-3 years Fabrication experience is required
• Coating Supervision is preferred
• Fabrication Supervision is preferred
• Welding Supervision is preferred
