Onsite The Raytheon Diné Facility (RDF) is a remote location factory structured under the Missile Systems business unit of Raytheon Technologies. RDF manufactures a wide variety of electro-mechanical devices, wiring harnesses, other products, and end item deliverable hardware. Production Control Planning is part of the larger Operations Management function within RDF that controls and manages the flow of materials and products to, within and from the facility. Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules, assesses changes and improves processes as necessary. Tracks status of material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed. Prepares reports on works in progress and can-builds. Coordinates material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet production requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and other groups. Schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. Review and maintain master production schedule (MPS). What You Will Do Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements- looking out 6 months ahead Evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production and / or Depot problems that impact schedule Solves any potential production and / or Depot problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed Control and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system, Confirm material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements Summarize inventory shortage impacts for assemblies and end items that will be or are released to the factory floor and provide weekly can-build and constraints Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders Interface with internal customers to include, VSMs, VSLs, MEs, IEs, Quality, WIPs and Managers Participates in CORE projects, contract closeout, and or teams to accomplish continuous improvements Please Note: This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX- Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices. This position is an on-site role, and the selected candidate would need to be located within commuting distance of the RTX Dine facility as this position does not offer relocation. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or and advanced degree in a related field. Experience with SAP/PRISM Experience with Government and Depot type processes Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer MS Excel to include formula application and pivot tables Experience reading and evaluating lists of parts required for production work and working with a production planning system Prior experience interfacing, collaborating, and communicating with all levels of an organization, as well as with a large external customer base, to accomplish tasks. Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
