Job description

This position uses automated systems, such as word processing equipment, personal computers, or workstations linked to a larger computer or local area network, to produce a variety of documents, such as correspondence, memos, publications, forms, reports, tables and graphs. The Word Processor uses one or more word processing software packages; may also perform routine clerical tasks, such as operating copiers, filing, answering telephones, ad sorting and distributing mail. Requires both a comprehensive knowledge of word processing software applications and office graphs, charts, or multiple columns. Uses either different word processing packages or many different style macros or special command functions; independently completes assignments and resolves problems. Responsibilities Develops logistics strategies and recommends changes to processes to keep programs ahead of schedule. Assesses, manages and works to reduce risk factors. Enhances workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates. Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports. Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Typically requires BA and 2-4 years. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiar with debriefing aircraft flight crews.
Familiar with Air Force 781 aircraft forms.
Ability to work multiple shifts.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Desired Qualifications: Ability to type 45 words per minute.
Air Force AFSOC C-130 experience.
Air Force MOCC/aircraft debrief experience.
G081 experience.
Active Secret Clearance.
