Job description

Work for one of the most preeminent association management, government relations and examination administration firms in the nation as their Senior Staff Accountant! This role is located in Colonie, NY; and is available as a Direct Hire role! Those with strong accounting experience and comfortability with high volume pace please apply!

Role Details:

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000/year

Fully onsite position! (Located in Colonie)

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm (M-F)

What you need to apply:

2 or more years of experience as a Staff Accountant

Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance (or related field) required

Would consider Associates Degrees with strong experience!

Strong Microsoft Office and expertise in Excel required

On a typical day you will be:

Assisting the Controller with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of clients including grant management and budget review and analysis.

Performing the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures of clients.

Managing the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivable and work closely with account executives and clients to ensure that revenues and receivables are recorded and reconciled properly.

Processing bank deposits remotely.

Performing general accounts analysis and reconciliations including bank reconciliations.

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements, budget performance, and interim grant financial reporting for clients.
