Job description

A manufacturing company located in Ballston Spa is looking to bring on an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist! This is a direct hire position!

What you need to know

This is a permanent/direct hire position

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Onsite

Location: Ballston Spa, NY

Pay: $60,000 starting salary

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Generation: Generate and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.

Payment Collection: Actively manage and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring prompt and successful payment collection.

Client Communication: Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients to address payment inquiries, discrepancies, and payment arrangements.

Record-Keeping: Keep detailed and organized records of all financial transactions and correspondence related to accounts receivable.

Collaborate with internal team to ensure all accounts receivables are collected

Set up new customers and ensure current customer records are accurate

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.

Proficiency in SAP is required!

Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
