About the Organization: Accounts Payable Analyst

• Creative Financial Staffing of New York is working with a leading food industry organization located in the Hunts Point, Bronx area
• They are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team and report directly to the AP Manager

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Analyst

• Review and process vendor invoices and payment requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to address payment inquiries and improve processes.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Analyst

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
