Mpower is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a full-time Payroll Specialist at our Brooklyn, New York, headquarters office. The ideal candidate will have a relentless work ethic, positive mental attitude, and strong critical thinking skills and will be highly ambitious, friendly, polite, and professional.

This candidate should be well-versed in payroll processes. They should have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and a familiarity with timekeeping and payroll programs. They must also be well-versed in office administrative functions.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, and are not limited to:

Manage end-to-end payroll process for employees, ensuring accurate wages, deductions, and tax calculations.

Input and verify employee data, including hours worked and time off.

Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

Preparation and distribution of payroll reports, statements, and summaries.

Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a payroll specialist

Strong knowledge of the payroll system ADP Workforce Now

Familiarity with payroll laws, tax codes, and employment regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

Previous experience in payroll processing or a similar role.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually (based on experience and skills) Benefits: Employee Health Insurance including Medical, Dental, and Vision.
