Endeavor Health Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Supervisor to lead our EAST HAVEN Crisis Stabilization Center, providing immediate support and effective interventions to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The Program Supervisor supervises and coordinates the day-to-day activities of Adult Services at EAST Haven Crisis Stabilization Center including agency staff and external subcontracting programs. Provides clinical and peer supervision and supervises day-to-day activities of staff to assure that the program is in compliance with government and agency regulations, policies, and procedures. Must be able to work 12pm - 8pm at least twice per week.
Essential Functions:
- Provides clinical supervision to staff, interns, and peers for day-to-day activities and to meet licensing/certification requirements.
- Reviews charts for completeness and accuracy.
- Assists staff in analyzing case problems and improving referrals and linkages.
- Reviews all assessments, screening tools, intake documentation, discharges, encounter closures, and treatment plans (as required for some clubhouse participants).
- May triage walk-in clients to crisis center and coordinates activities of staff in providing services to assist with these clients.
- Participates with Director in developing and implementing program policies and procedures and also assists in implementing agency administrative policies.
- Assists Director in assessing program services and progress and works with Director on continuous quality improvement. Works collaboratively with Director to ensure that all services are consistent with agency, OMH, and CCBHC policies and regulations.
- Consults with consulting psychiatrist/nurse practitioners as needed.
- Assigns and monitors staff schedules.
- Uses good time management skills.
- Models and practices sensitivity, fair treatment and acceptance of diversity in all interpersonal interactions. Maintains cultural sensitivity and competence with respect to clients and families as well as other employees and contractors.
- Oversees completion of required surveys and data collection as required by agency and funders.
- Meets with clients as needed.
- Participates in recruitment and selection of staff. Trains new employees in areas such as agency policies, department procedures, and agency/funder regulations. Continuously evaluates staff progress and performance and reports to Director any deficits of employees. Responsible for staff development, evaluation, quality, and quantity of work.
- Oversees and approves staff timesheets, PTO/sick requests in UKG.
- Audits client charts to ensure quality of documentation.
- Runs monthly reports as needed.
- Provides training to existing staff on updates to program/agency/funder policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
- Represents the agency in the community or in interagency activities.
- Works with Director of complete employee evaluations as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling with 1-2 years experience
- Licensed as a Qualified Health Professional (QHP). Must be NYS Licensed LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, etc.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable DMV record
- Proficiency with computer software including MS Office 365 and Oracle Millennium
- Ability to identify issues and offer suggestions to improve program processes
- Ability to lead program staff

Salary starting at $58,000 - 60,000/year depending on education, credential and experience.
