Job description

Material Handler

Responsibilities

Package pharmaceutical products per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies & procedures in compliance with specifications and regulations established for packaging process.

Operate automatic filling, labeling, and sealing equipment.

Perform cleaning of the packaging room and equipment.

cGMP/Documentation: Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Accurately and legibly document in applicable Log Books

Determine when to stop a line related to safety or quality.

Operate automatic packaging equipment.

Document packaging activities.

Feed filling equipment.

Palletize finished products.

Segregate waste products and materials.

Return unused material/product.

Reconcile product bulk, material, packaging, and printed materials.

Enforce and follow safety regulations and ensure the working area is clean.

Participate in safety related programs and or safety teams as needed.

Adhere to company Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.

Requirements

HS Diploma.GED or equivalent

6 months Packaging Operator experience in an automated work environment preferred.

Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Packaging Area Standard Operating Procedures and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally in English
