For this New York United States-based position, the expected base pay is $46.50-59.90

Hours: 645am-315pm with rotating weekends

A weekend shift RN Supervisor is attached to this position

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program. Current RN license in state.

At least two (2) years nursing experience. Long-Term care or critical care experience.

Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook

Effective time management skills.

Subject to initial and on-going security clearance requirements.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities:
For this New York United States-based position, the expected base salary is $46.50 - $59.90 per hour

Below is a list of your responsibilities as an Education Coordinator with YesCare:

Supervises staff on assigned shift to ensure patient care is provided. Monitors nursing practices to ensure staff adheres nursing procedures within scope.

Identifies and develops programs to ensure education requirements align with manage employee YesCare, DOCCS, NYS and ACA requirements.

Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions.

Coordinates with the vendor pharmacy to facilitate resolutions of issues and maintain ordering of par levels of stock medications and sharps according to NYS, DOCCS and YesCare guidelines.

Identifies and provides patient educational materials on medications, diagnosis, treatment and specialty devices on admission, as needed and quarterly basis

Coordinates with social services, DOCCS, parole and community entities to facilitate appropriate placement of patients based on medical needs when condition improves or parole dictates.

Ensures all documentation and necessary supplies are provided according to YesCare , DOCCS and ACA standards

Serves as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.

Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Other duties as assigned by management.
