Overview:
The Nottingham, CNY's Premiere Independent Senior Living Facility, is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to help continue in our success with our dining operations in the Dining room, Clubhouse and the Bistro. If you have a passion for food along with giving extraordinary service and enjoy working with great staff, then don't pass up this opportunity! Preferred applicant will have 2-5 years of restaurant dining or banquet service with supervisory experience, is computer proficient, and has strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills. The right fit will demonstrate effective leadership including coaching and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities:
Consistently provides an enjoyable dining experience and ambiance for residents and guests through exceptional service.

Schedules dining service staff for sufficient coverage to prepare and serve food to residents and guests.

Ensures that all codes, regulations, policies and procedures are enforced as they pertain to dining services.

Monitors kitchen and dining room cleanliness, ensuring a clean environment.

Involved in all employment aspects of assigned staff to include interviewing and hiring, orienting and training, scheduling and coordinating work assignments, evaluating performance, coaching and disciplining staff.

Experience in POS system (Point of Sales) is a plus, but not required.

Performs quality control measures to ensure all aspects of the resident dining experience meets or exceeds the standards for the Nottingham.

INDPRO

Qualifications:
High School diploma required. Associates degree desired.

ServeSafe certified, or willing to pursue certification.

2 years experience in a food services supervisory role preferred.

Ability to lead, guide and motivate staff.

Outstading interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, residents, and families from diverse backgrounds who may have physical, sensory and mental impairments.

Ability to analyze problems, plan resoluntion strategies, implement solutions and evaluate outcomes.

Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new software rapidly.

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
