We are currently looking for a full time Distribution Auditor to join our growing, progressive, and collaborative work environment. This is a full-time position based out of our Melville, NY location. Standard hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Distribution Auditor will work to improve the Shipping accuracy at our 99 Marcus Distribution Center. Drive the accuracy and integrity of all outbound customer shipments by performing daily outbound audits with pickers and packers. Perform audits on inbound put away activity and outbound loads. Support all Warehouse Management System functions at the Distribution Center. Help to build the culture of Quality and identify and implement quality improvements within the Distribution Center.

Qualifications:
•Bilingual skills are required (English/Spanish)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Distribution center experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred

•Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)
• Ability to compile and analyze data to identify trends and correct root cause of quality issues
• Ability to work well in diverse team environment
• Use safe operating procedures and judgment and Operate forklift in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow all facility rules to maintain quality and integrity of customer orders
• Lift up to 50 pounds consistently

Responsibilities:
Owning and managing all quality tickets to include investigation, resolution, and closing of tickets

Compiling claims data to track errors by employee as well as other information and trends

Performing daily outbound quality observations on pickers, packers, and put away employees to ensure best practices are being performed

Tracking Quality Observation results

Performing audits on outbound for pack quality as well as order accuracy of shipments and tracking results

Performing inbound audits and tracking results

Identifying and implement operational quality improvement ideas

Learn and understand all warehouse process performed in WMS

Develop, Implement, and maintain designated trainer program to drive the focus on Quality

Willing to work flexible schedule to ensure the focus on quality is maintained on all shifts

The hourly pay rate for this role would be commensurate with experience: $22 to $25 per hour
