Job description

  • The Sr. BI Analyst will assist in transforming raw data into actionable insights for decisions across the organization. This position involves analyzing and interpreting complex data sets from ERP, CRM, and other business systems to generate reports and dashboards.

Description

  • Solid knowledge of various manufacturing software platforms, such as ERP and CRM systems.
  • Ability to effectively mine data from various sources including but not limited to databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction and integration.
  • Cleanse, validate, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Apply statistical methods and data mining techniques to derive actionable insights.
  • Design and develop visually appealing reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, SSRS, Crystal Reports).
  • Customize reports to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders within the organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of various business processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop models and algorithms.
  • Create intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, data engineers, and IT professionals.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analysis.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Profile

  • BAchelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years' in manufacturing experience in data analysis, report writing, and business intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Deep knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
