Director of Residential Hospice Services Opportunity Description

Our client is a well-established Home Health and Hospice organization. They have a current opening for a Director of Residential Hospice Services to oversee their facility in the New City, NY area. Residential Community leadership and RN is required. Relocation candidates will be considered.

Director of Residential Hospice Services Job Requirements

Registered Nurse with New York State Nursing License.

BSN required. Master's in nursing or public health is preferred.

A minimum of five years of experience in healthcare administration, ideally in a licensed nursing home or assisted living environment

Director of Residential Hospice Services Opportunity Job Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the hospice/nursing home program including budget and quality of care.

Lead the preparation and submission of the hospice residence Certificate of Need (CON) and guide it through the NYSDOH approval process.

Develop and maintain the policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with NYSDOH and JCAHO standards.

Recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring alignment with performance standards and organizational goals.

Cultivate a positive work environment and promote professional development through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training initiatives.
