Administrative Assistant, Department of Nursing
Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are recruiting an Administrative Assistant to support our Director of Nursing for the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care and our Director of Nursing who oversees Nursing teams at our Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Westchester sites.

Role Overview:
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director including heavy calendar management, meeting coordination, and agenda preparations
Assist in coordinating various operational meetings, preparing presentations, and taking meeting minutes
Ensure confidentiality of critical documents and information as per department and institution guidelines
Order supplies and coordinate maintenance needs
Key Qualifications:
2+ years of administrative support experience at MSK
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Comfortable using collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other virtual platforms)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Core Skills:
An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding
Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances
Adept at creating partnerships and working collaboratively to meet shared objectives and goals
Capable of building positive relationships
A good decision-maker, able to make timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
Willing to take action and eager to accept new opportunities and tough challenges with high energy, and passion
Additional Information:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm (hybrid schedule 3 -4 days onsite)
Location: 530 E. 74th Street
Pay Range: $25.65 - $38.42
Reporting to the Director of Nursing.
