ABOUT THE ROLE

At Mansueto Ventures, home to iconic brands Inc. and Fast Company, we're on the lookout for a marketing specialist ready to redefine the landscape of subscription growth. If you have an eye for analytics, data, and creativity we've got the perfect role for you. As our Assistant Manager, Growth Marketing, you'll be the mastermind behind the growth strategies, acquisition and retention of our free and paid subscription products including subscriptions to our paywalls, digital issues, newsletters and more. We want someone who is able to blend traditional subscription insights with inventive new ideas.

Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 + commission and bonus eligible. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, industry, and education.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Create the growth blueprint for Inc. and Fast Company's subscription products across a diverse palette of acquisition marketing channels, with a spotlight on owned media and a keen eye on paid social and other dynamic platforms.
  • Assist team with all phases of marketing campaigns from conception to execution and evaluation. You'll steer campaign creation, finesse assets, and crunch numbers to decipher the story behind the results.
  • Research competitors and provide insights and opportunities by analyzing our audience and rivals, turning them into action plans that resonate and captivate.
  • Understand KPIs, trends, and performance analytics to translate data into strategies, presenting your findings to the broader team and leadership.
  • Be the force driving revenue growth and creative innovation, blending strategy and optimization to turn every opportunity into gold.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-3+ years of experience in marketing subscription products.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an open office environment.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail; demonstrates persistence in finding solutions.
  • Highly data-driven, leveraging analytics to inform recommendations and develop strategies.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly Excel; basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine enjoyment of engaging with others.
