About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dedicated Audit Partner specializing in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) to join our client's leadership team. This hybrid role involves leading and managing audit engagements for clients within the AEC industry. Leveraging your financial acumen, industry knowledge, and leadership skills, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services, mentor teams, and cultivate strong client relationships. If you have 12+ years of experience in auditing AEC clients and a CPA certification, we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

Lead and manage audit engagements for AEC clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.

Oversee and review audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports.

Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in financial matters.

Understand clients' business objectives and provide insights to improve financial performance.

Provide guidance and mentorship to audit teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Collaborate with other partners and managers to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Identify and assess risks associated with AEC engagements and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.

Actively participate in business development activities, including client acquisition and relationship building.

Identify opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and pursuing new business within the AEC group.

Maintain a commitment to quality and excellence in audit services.

Conduct reviews of audit work papers and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to professional standards.

Core Competencies:

Audit & Compliance: Proven expertise in leading and managing audits within the AEC sector, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Client Relationship Management: Strong ability to act as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Leadership & Team Development: Experience mentoring audit teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Business Development & Risk Management: Ability to assess risks, identify opportunities for growth, and participate in client acquisition and business development activities.

What You Bring:

Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

12+ years of auditing experience, with a focus on AEC clients.

CPA certification is required.

Big 4 experience is preferred.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.

Work Environment & Benefits:
