Job description

The Employee Relations Specialist will serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters, managing workplace conflicts, investigations, and ensuring policy compliance within the financial services industry. They will work closely with management to implement performance improvement plans, promote a positive work environment, and ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.

Description

  • Compensation Strategy Support:
    Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of the company's compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and incentive programs, ensuring alignment with industry benchmarks and regulatory compliance.

  • Benefits Administration:
    Oversee the day-to-day management of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other perks, ensuring timely enrollment and resolution of employee inquiries.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Analyze compensation and benefits data to ensure competitiveness and recommend adjustments where necessary. Prepare reports for senior management on salary structures, market trends, and budget impacts.

  • Compliance Management:
    Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those relevant to the financial services sector.

  • Employee Communication:
    Develop clear communication materials to explain compensation and benefits programs to employees, providing guidance and addressing any questions.

  • Process Improvement:
    Assist in reviewing and improving existing compensation and benefits processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation strategy, benefits administration, and relevant employment laws.
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
