We are looking for an experienced Commercial Interiors Construction Superintendent to manage interior renovation and build-out projects on Long Island. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Description

Construction Superintendent - Long Island, NY

  • Supervise all phases of commercial interior construction projects, from initial planning through completion.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections for progress monitoring, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, site logistics, and material deliveries.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Prepare and maintain daily logs, progress reports, and other required documentation.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial interiors construction.
  • Working in the Building and Construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of commercial interior construction processes, materials, and techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Familiarity with Long Island permitting and inspection processes.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
