Job description

The Role
Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, seeks a talented Technical Recruiter to be responsible for all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle in support of their growing Engineering and Product teams. As a highly valued partner to the business areas supported, this role is responsible for providing a consultative recruiting approach to senior management, hiring managers and HR Business Partners.

  • 6- 15 years experience.
  • Must have 3 years of corporate Technology recruiting
  • Must have deep recruiting knowledge of all Technology areas, Cloud, Infrastructure, App Dev, Data Science
  • Workday ATS a big plus
  • Must be processed oriented. Must be very smart.
  • Must be great at Boolean searches
  • Must be able to handle a manager intake call from day one
  • Must have some knowledge of AI and how a recruiter can use it.
  • Must live near NJ/NY or PA office and go in 2 days a week
You Will:
Serve as a credible and valuable resource to leadership; conduct needs analysis, define recruiting strategy and drive consistent execution.
Develop networks internally and externally to ensure a strong pipeline of potential candidates; maintain contact and communications with top talent as warranted.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners to assess and identify recruiting priorities within the various functions supported, providing timely updates and reports around progress and key issues.
Drive process and communication to develop position requirements and candidate qualifications aligned to the business requirements; provide accurate and insightful candidate assessments and evaluations.
Develop sourcing strategies and implement those strategies while meeting service level agreements with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
Provide recruiting expertise around the use of social networks, tools and resources.
Effectively track, monitor and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of the Applicant Tracking System (Workday Recruiting); ensure data integrity for metrics/reporting.

You Have:
Strong client service orientation with a proven track record in executing the full recruiting lifecycle.
Ability to build outstanding relationships across an organization and be viewed as a valued business partner.
Proven business acumen with the ability to navigate organizational complexity; effectively understanding the key business needs.
Positive can do attitude with an unquestioned commitment to success and team collaboration.
Strong offer negotiation skills with proven abilities to attract and close top talent.
Solid judgment and critical thinking skills with a strong sense of urgency; flexibility and calm adaptability to demanding and/or stressful situations; highly capable in addressing ambiguity.
Demonstrated success with direct recruiting and sourcing methodologies.
Serves as a highly professional and articulate representative and spokesperson in branding the organization to the external talent marketplace.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a technology recruiting environment.
Prior experience in both corporate recruiting and retained/contingency search firms.
Experience in insurance and/or financial services preferred but not required.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems is highly required with current familiarity with Workday Recruiting as a strong preference.

Location:
New York, NY or Matawan, NJ. This is a hybrid role and the resource will be required to work in the NYC or Matawan office 2-3 days per week.

Estimated Min Rate: $35/hour
Estimated Max Rate: $45/hour
