Job description

Field Service Engineer Level 2 NYC 10018

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Level 2 help desk service requests, both reactive and proactive, generated by users or monitoring systems.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support.
  • Communicate updates promptly and clearly to customers, leads, and management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborate with Project and Internal IT Teams as required.
  • Work with fellow engineers based on skill set and task complexity, as directed by management.
  • Own and resolve assigned incidents, ensuring timely completion.
  • Execute standard changes related to moves, adds, changes, and deletions (MACD) in alignment with documented procedures and policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a managed service provider (MSP). Other transferable experience will be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of three core ITIL Service Processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
  • A valid driver's license is required; access to a car is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications:
    • CompTIA Network+/Security+
    • Microsoft Azure Administration
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
