Job description

Our Client is seeking an Accounting and Finance Associate to join their growing team. The Accounting and Finance associate will be responsible for overseeing accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to ensure the organization's financial health and alignment with strategic goals.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Provide insights and analyses to support management decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations. Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and analyzing financial data.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Provide financial support to various departments and respond to financial inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP, Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
