Job description

Our Client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. The Analyst will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to ensure the organization's financial health and alignment with strategic goals.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, performance metrics, and key business drivers to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as ad hoc reports as needed. Collaborates with key stakeholders to evalulate strategic insights related to P&L performance including Product Strategy, Pricing, Marketing Sales, Credit Risk, Distribution Channels and Member Experience.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of budgets and financial forecasts, including variance analysis and scenario planning.

  • Collect, validate, and interpret financial data from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, investment analysis, and decision-making processes.

  • Track and analyze financial performance metrics, including profitability, cost management, and cash flow, to support business performance evaluation.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and senior management, to provide financial insights and recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards. Support internal and external audits as required.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

  • 1-3 of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or strategy reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., ERP, Excel, SQL, Tableu, R, Python, SAS, Snowflake, financial software).

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
