Title:

Intermediate Contract Administrator University Construction and Facilities

Client:

The objective of the Construction Management and Facilities group of this celebrated university is to provide the highest quality research, teaching, and residential environments possible for faculty and students to live, learn and work. The group is responsible for construction management for academic and infrastructure capital projects, strategic planning and budgeting, code compliance monitoring and reporting, project management procedures, sustainability, and energy programs as well as MEP operations and maintenance.

Description:

The successful candidate will work on a long-term contract with a notable NYC university to assist in bidding out and maintaining their service contracts.

Responsibilities:

Prepare contract specifications including defining scope of services for review and approval.

Prepare bid documents and administer processes for bidding service agreements.

Review bids and benchmark against other vendors, comparing pricing and other factors.

Establish, review, and monitor criteria for contract performance.

Establish dollar values within budget parameters and modify blanket purchase orders.

Create templates and SOPs for the team.

Job requirements:

Two - three (2-3) years of relevant experience in fields relating to facilities management, accounting, or contracting services, or equivalent combination.

MUST include some procurement experience.

Ability to manage purchase order requests and blanket orders.

Ability to manage service deliveries and quality.

Capable of performing contractor compliance reviews.

Familiar with vendor relations experience and budget monitoring.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, other business-related field, or Architecture/Engineering.
