Lead Systems Architect/Blockchain

NY based fintech industry leader has unique opportunity for a Lead Systems Architect with expertise in Blockchain technology to join our Infrastructure Team. This individual will lead a team responsible for architecture, system design, and the development of decentralized services. You will drive technology infrastructure that powers real time transaction processing, tokenization, and a wide range of technologies and play a key role in shaping the future of our platform as we continue to grow. This is a high-impact role offering the chance to lead the architecture and design of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions

What You'll Own:

Infrastructure Design & Leadership: Lead the design and delivery of our cloud-hosted infrastructure, ensuring it meets high standards for security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Blockchain & Decentralized Services: Take charge of designing and building blockchain and other decentralized services, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with our platform and meet performance and scalability requirements.

Automation & Best Practices: Use tools like Ansible to automate infrastructure deployment, creating testable, repeatable processes. Ensure adherence to technical best practices and architectural standards across the organization.

System Architecture: Architect solutions with a focus on security, observability, and operational efficiency, helping to maintain and evolve a resilient and scalable infrastructure.

What You Bring:

Experience: 10+ years of experience in system architecture, cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS), and automation technologies.

Linux Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, with strong hands-on experience.

Cloud-Native Technologies & Containerization: Implement and manage cloud-native solutions using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, along with orchestration and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible) to ensure scalable and efficient operations.

Scripting Proficiency: Experience coding or scripting (Python or Bash preferred) in one or more languages, with the ability to understand and implement complex technical solutions.

Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including protocols like TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, and SMTP, as well as experience with firewalls and load balancers.

Blockchain Expertise: Familiarity with blockchain technologies, ideally Ethereum, and experience designing decentralized services.

Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Equally, you can translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Mentorship & Leadership: Serve as a mentor to junior team members, helping foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Curiosity & Drive: A passion for learning and a desire to continuously improve the platform, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.

Annual Base Salary Range: $175,000-$210,000. based on experience and skills.
