Job description

LHH has partnered with a reputable firm in NYC in their search for a temporary Litigation Legal Secretary. The duration of the project is expected to last 4-6 weeks. The position is hybrid with 3 days required in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and e-filing documents including but not limited to complaints, discovery, and motion practice in Federal and/or State Courts

  • Handling multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

  • Heavy calendaring and scheduling for meetings, calls, deadlines, and proactively ensuring deadlines are met

  • Manage attorney's schedule and calendar all meetings/deadlines

  • Document management, organization, retrieval, and production

  • Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and research for large volume cases

  • Prepare and finalize pleadings in accordance with applicable court rules

  • Draft Table of Contents and Table of Authorities


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation secretary.

  • Highly organized with ability to support multiple attorneys

  • Strong written and verbal skills

Pay Rate: $35-$45/hour



Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
