Company Overview:

We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company seeking to hire a Material Handler. Our client specializes in the production of automotive parts and is looking for someone to assist in the smooth handling of materials within their warehouse and production facility.

Job Summary:
The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. You will work with the logistics team to ensure that materials are delivered where needed and that inventory levels are properly maintained. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload materials from trucks and move them to designated storage areas.

Ensure that materials are stored safely and in accordance with company policies.

Deliver materials to production areas as required.

Keep accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.

Assist with routine inventory counts and cycle checks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

Forklift certification or ability to become certified.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
