Job description

Our client a leading professional services firm located in downtown, NYC is looking to hire an Azure Power BI, T-SQL (Direct Hire, not a consultant). The candidate will be responsible for the development of T-SQL and analytical data structures, data visualization and reporting capabilities for the MS Power Platform. He/she will work closely with IT senior management and key business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. This is a full-time hybrid position 3 days onsite. Candidates interested should forward their resume to .

Role: Azure Power BI/T-SQL Developer (direct hire, not a consultant)

Responsibilities:

Maintain the firm's Reporting platform inventory: maintain and publish solutions to Power BI workspaces, assign security roles to provide access to reports and dashboards, package solutions in Power BI apps for distribution to the targeted business users.

Manage MS Power platforms (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).

Develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on technical requirements.

Assist with data quality improvement processes and develop SQL scripts for ad hoc data analysis.

Ingest, merge, and transform data using MS Azure tools.

Manage full SDLC for analytics solutions.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' data analytics experience with MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps).

Strong Data Visualization skills (parameterized reports, DAX scripts).

3 plus years' experience (current) with T-SQL and MS BI Tools (Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).

Familiarity with MS Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Azure storage functions.

Bachelor's degree and professional certifications are a plus.

Ability to work 3 days onsite and 2 offsite

Salary: $125k-165k
