Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex software development projects, ideally in the EdTech industry. This role will require strong Agile project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex Agile programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, software development, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
Coach and mentor Agile teams to improve their practices and performance.
Identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
Use JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet to track project progress, manage tasks, and generate reports.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Travel occasionally and work in the Eastern time zone as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Agile project management with progressively increasing responsibility.
Deep knowledge of software development and adoption, particularly in the EdTech industry.
Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to influence and collaborate in a matrix organization.
