About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Director to join our team at HLTH. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, converting and growing a portfolio of new clients who sponsor HLTH's events, such as ViVE, HLTH US, and HLTH Europe and/or sponsor our HLTH Community digital content and thought leadership programs. Reporting to the Head of Client Experiences in the US, you will play a pivotal role in executing our growth strategy and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and sponsors. The Sales Director will develop a plan for strategic outreach to new prospects and will aggressively work to convert them into clients. The Sales Director will also work collaboratively with Account Managers to sell new products to existing clients. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in business development, sales, and client service, with a focus on the healthcare industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed new business sales targets, leveraging HLTH's global events and content opportunities and introduce new-to-market offerings

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to earn business from multiple divisions within new target companies

Reengage and reactivate lapsed accounts who have not spent with HLTH Inc. in the prior two years

Engage with and convert incoming leads into clients who utilize multiple services across our portfolio

Prepare compelling sales proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to the needs of each client

Provide excellent customer service and support for sponsors through a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail

Track and report daily on sales pipeline progress, from proposal to contract closure using CRM tools.

Develop expertise in the business goals of each account and stay current on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to inform sales strategies

Offer new ideas to drive revenue

Work cross functionally with teams at HLTH to ensure excellent client service

Develop lasting and productive relationships with key decision makers across the portfolio of new and target accounts

HLTH Technology Stack:

Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info

Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years of sales and account management experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in Healthcare and/or Event sales

Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in multiple countries

Tenacious, self-motivated and committed to exceeding sales targets

Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

Independent and comfortable with organizational change and delivering against time-based deadlines

Excellent planning, communication and organization skills

Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook.

Knowledge of the Healthcare and events industries preferred
