How you'll make an impact:

The Vice President, Finance will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning while identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial acumen, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do:

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process ensuring alignment of key assumptions and consistency with resource allocation in order to reach and exceed near and long-term goals.

Bridge results with spending in various areas, ensuring financial targets are met.

Align long-term and short-term planning with capability timelines across the organization, driving transparency and accountability

Drive key decisions for future strategies, including scenario planning for pricing structures, new products, and decision alternatives.

Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities, challenging the status quo to optimize market approaches, including using competitive and other external benchmarks to question the status quo

Conduct thorough investment analysis on programs, assessing their efficacy and impact and driving transparency in evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of such programs

Provide accurate and timely financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics to evaluate business performance and support decision making.

Interact with peers to evaluate and advise on the financial impact of short- and long-term strategic and operational plans.

Closely monitor performance against key operating and financial metrics across the business, creating . clear financial metrics to ensure results track with projections.

Provide strong leadership by setting clear expectations, define goals, and foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.

15+ years of experience in finance, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within the media or technology industries.

Strong understanding of subscription-based business models and revenue strategies.

Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in financial modeling, scenario planning, and investment analysis.

High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Experience developing and managing a company's key operating mechanisms; providing relevant and timely analysis, benchmarks and business insights that inform business decisions and drive profitable growth.

General, working understanding of accounting principles.

Ability to effectively present data, analyses, and proposals to a variety of targeted audiences including executives, investors, partners, clients, and employees.

Experience recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining a highly effective finance organization.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Ability to work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Through knowledge of relevant and necessary forecasting and accounting systems. Experience in Anaplan and Essbase a plus

Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and/or G-suite.

Ability to travel to SiriusXM locations and/or flexibility to work across multiple time zones as needed.

Must have legal right to work in the U.S
