Job description



This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment, components and fixtures following all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program, journeyman license preferred

Experience 2 to 4 years in a manufacturing environment with the same or similar equipment, components

Extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one electricity.

Solid working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and facility's electrical needs

Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.

Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Must be available to be on call, including holidays, nights and weekends

Hourly wage range: $28.84-$32.96

ProAmpac's Norfolk, NY site is a 24/7 manufacturing facility producing rolls of specialty Kraft Paper from 100% recycled material.
