Field Service Engineer Job Category: Business Development and Marketing Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 50% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI's Mastodon Design team in Rochester, NY is looking to hire a Senior Field Service Engineer to join their team. Mastodon Design specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers' next requirement. We focus on offering devices that can be fielded immediately to meet the mission needs that lie directly ahead. Size, weight, power, and packaging are of paramount importance in everything we design and build. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals and communications systems. Responsibilities: Primary customer liaison to end user community specific to Army Program of Record. Responsible for managing and resolving customer concerns and issues related to the POR SIGINT/EW systems. Coordinate with Program Management to drive technical insertion opportunities that enhancing the value and usability of the POR system through close customer interactions analysis of customer mission. Maintain diligent mobile phone, text, and email communication with internal company chain of command. Collaborates with program management, product line management, and account management on potential opportunities to drive growth. Develops and maintains relationships with industry partners for potential teaming opportunities. Qualifications: Required: 15+ years of operational experience operating SIGINT/EW systems in an operational environment. An active TS/SCI clearance. Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 7+ years of related work. Detailed understanding of Electronic Warfare operations in all domains. Detailed understanding of RF fundamentals, including but not limited to, propagation, detectability, and direction finding. Ability to interact with the customer to understand the requirements of that customer and translate those to a Mastodon engineering requirement. Ability to travel on short notice to support customer engagements and product demonstrations. Understanding of foreign militaries and partnering relationships. Ability to brief product portfolio to all levels. Desired: Familiarity with RF tactical communication systems, applications, and wireless networking. Familiar with data analytics market trends and applications. Enjoys working with people, developing relationships and sharing knowledge. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
