Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN Ratios: Normal Ratios for med/surg, Day and Eve 5:1, Nights 6 or 7:1. • Stretch Ratios for Med/Surg Day/Eve 6:1 Nights 9-10:1 • We have PCT's on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG's and any sort of activity of daily living • We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines Years of experience REQ: 1 First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes Weekend REQ: EOW Certs REQ: BLS Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? No Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units? Float to MS, ICU, ED. If staff float to ICU or ED it is to care for Med/Surg level patients or be helping hands. Will not practice outside of scope Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteed Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No RTO Restrictions: We will not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract • Contracts must go through the New Year • No holiday RTO (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year's) The agency nurse will not work all holidays but we need to use our discretion on which holiday we will need the agency nurse to work Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Requirements: Tele required.
