Job Title: Warehouse Operations Assistant

Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday, including paid 15-minute breaks and a unpaid one-hour lunch break.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving, and shipping by executing daily tasks to streamline operations within the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide coverage for operations team leads in assigned departments.

• Maintain designated work areas, ensuring organization and cleanliness.

• Stay updated on current company procedures and policies within operations.

• Contribute to the automation of processes to enhance efficiency and reliability within the database.

• Assist in cross-training staff to promote consistency across departments.

• Address operations-related inquiries and questions from sales, sales support, and accounting departments.

OTHER DUTIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team objectives and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Regents level HS Diploma

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.

• Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving, and shipping procedures.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively, adapting to changing priorities.

• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle items, talking, hearing, and smelling. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling may be required. The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs is necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Occasional exposure to moderate noise, heavy machinery, and heights may occur during the performance of job duties.

This is a right-to-hire position with a schedule of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, including paid 15-minute breaks and an unpaid one-hour lunch break.
