We have an opportunity for you to apply your experience in deep learning frameworks, natural language processing, and Large Language Models ( LLMs ) for the DoD. As an advanced data scientist in Booz Allen's Chief Data Office, you'll work closely with a diverse team of professionals to understand client needs and solve complex problems through the application of artifi cia l intelligence. The world can't wait. You Have: 2+ years of experience applying data science te chn iques and machine learning algorithms and methodologies to solve real world problems
Experience implementing data analysis within programing languages such as Python or R, including deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience analyzing complex data sets using data analysis and visualization sof tware such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
Ability to explain complex te chn ical concepts to experience and non-experience groups
Ability to learn and apply unfamiliar sof tware quickly and independently
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Physics, Material Science, EE, Mathematics, Information Science, Data Science, or CS Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience developing and implementing data science and machine learning applications or tools
Knowledge of LLMs built around transformer architectures
Knowledge of current research in Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing
Knowledge of different sof tware development approaches, including DevSecOps and AIOps
Master's degree in Physics, Material Science, EE, Mathematics, Information Science, Data Science, or CS preferred; Doctorate degree in Physics, Material Science, EE, Mathematics, Information Science, Data Science, or CS a plus
IT Security Certification such as CompTIA Security+ Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information . Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
