Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including Hi-Lo and cherry pickers, to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and basic math tasks.

Duties
- Operate forklifts, including Hi-Lo, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks, to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform regular inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Assist in materials handling tasks, including stacking, organizing, and storing products in designated areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices and materials handling techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
