Job description
This is an opportunity to join Regeneron's growing Global Procurement organization as a Senior Sourcing Specialist, where you will support the planning and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives for our Commercial / Sales teams. This role works across the landscape of vendor sourcing activities, QBR data and measuring our supplier performance, including: developing sourcing specifications / requirements and related scope of work, data gathering, supporting spend analytics, assisting in delivery of measurable cost savings, and monitoring savings against contract. The position will also support evaluations through the development of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs and is expected to actively participate in the supplier selection process and provide recommendations to ensure informed selection decisions.
The role is based at our HQ campus in Sleepy Hollow, NY and is hybrid / onsite 3 days per week - it is not eligible for remote work.
A typical day might include :
Supporting sourcing and category managers to perform supply market analyses and use sourcing tools to identify suppliers.
Supporting the RFx process, contract negotiations, and ensures contract expectations are realized, e.g., SLAs, Savings, etc.
Monitors and ensures compliance with pricing agreements, internal policies, and procedures.
Reviews and approves POs in the Oracle workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits.
Works within iCertis to collect requirements, draft, and manage workflow for Scopes of Work (SOW) covering commercial terms.
Tracks the expiry of the contract's term and alerts sourcing manager and stakeholder(s) for existing contracts.
Supports the category sourcing team on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives including, coordinating supplier governance meetings, creating / distributing scorecards, working with partners to review performance metrics, reporting SRM meeting action items, and tracking resolutions.
This role might be for you if you have :
Experience in Procurement related systems.
Worked effectively in a rapid-response environment.
Demonstrated success supporting cross-functional teams through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
Working knowledge of sourcing and procurement, planning, supplier interface and negotiations, systems applications such as Zycus, Oracle, iCertis (Contracts Management), spend analytic software, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Supported global category teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
Insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.
Used external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve knowledge of supply market dynamics.
To be considered for this position you must possess a Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant experience with 3+ years or more experience directly in a sourcing role or supporting procurement / sourcing activities. Experience supporting Commercial teams within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. $94,800.00 - $154,600.00
