Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Benefits, the Benefits Administrator researches, analyzes, and evaluates a $120 million corporate health and welfare program. In this role, the Administrator must be familiar with benefit programs including HSAs, procedures, changes, and government mandated disclosures. The Sr. Benefits Administrator will liaison with vendors and internal HR partners across Fujifilm U.S. Subsidiaries.

Responsibilities
Implementation and administration of employee benefit programs such as health insurance, prescription, dental, flexible spending accounts.
Evaluates and analyzes plan design of healthcare program compared to trends and legislative requirement. Present findings and recommend changes or enhancements to Director Benefits.
Prepares, edits, and communicates information to employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures.Conducts companywide benefits orientation presentation for all new and existing employees. Communicates and trains field and sister companies HR/Benefits Staff on benefit program revisions, government regulated changes, and company initiatives.
Processing, completion, and distribution of monthly billing for sister companies and vendors related to all benefits.
Keeps abreast of and analyzes government regulations, benefit program trends, and prevailing practices.
Compiles, analyzes, and summarizes benefits experience for cost-control and risk-assessment factors, cost saving initiatives to determine plan changes and present written findings to Management.
Manages healthcare administration (medical, dental, prescription, flexible spending accounts, point solutions, wellness programs and vision) including enrollment, verifications, billing, and necessary documentation.
Creates and maintains mandatory ERISA plan compliance and documentation, including writing or editing of summary plan descriptions, contracts, and 5500's and provides to appropriate parties.
Consults with and advises employees and Human Resources Manager's on eligibility, sensitive, complicated, and in-depth private healthcare issues.
Compliance with the applicable requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended, and its implementing regulations (collectively, "HIPAA") and the Fujifilm HIPAA Policy for HLUS Self-Insured Health Plans with respect to protecting the privacy and security of plan beneficiaries' protected health information.
Required Skills/Education
Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience in related area.
7-10 years of experience in a benefits role.
Knowledge of ERISA, 5500's, HIPAA, and Medicare.
In-depth understanding of benefit plan designs and programs.
