Job description

This is a part-time, 1099 Contractor position.

The Physician shall provide professional services to residents of skilled nursing facilities as directed by Tapestry from time to time. The specific duties include the following:

Medical Director Services - One onsite visit per week required

The Medical Director shall provide medical and procedural consultation for residents of the Facility in accordance with all applicable Facility policies and Federal, State and/or Local laws, rules and regulations, which shall include but not be limited to full compliance with Title 42, Section 483.75(i) of the Code of Federal Regulations and any applicable state regulations. The Medical Director shall on an on-going and ad hoc basis advise the Facility Administrator of concerns and opportunities regarding the Facility's scope of services and the need to develop or procure future resident care programs, medical equipment and its professional and support staff. This will be a 1099 Contractor role and pay ranges from $300-800/day depending on experience, licenses held, and number of hours worked.

Additional duties of the Medical Director include but are not limited to:
Availability to facility 24/7 for emergencies, however, we have an after hours service assisting at 7pm every night
Go onsite at location at least once per week
Attend QA and/or QAPI monthly meetings at least 10 months of year
Assist in the development of clinical pathways designed to improve care of residents
Assist facility in marketing efforts as requested
Assist the facility in working with its other attending and assuring the highest quality of care to the residents and patients.
