LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE (LPN)

We are looking for an LPN to join our Surgery Center and work alongside our Physicians in our renowned, multi-subspecialty eye care group.
THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND
The LPN is responsible for providing exemplary patient care alongside our Physicians as we treat cataracts, glaucoma, diseases of the cornea, and perform laser vision correction surgeries. You'll exercise your experience as an LPN and good clinical judgement while reviewing patient medical history and medical clearances.
OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care teams to maintain the standards of professional nursing practices in a clinical setting
- Collect comprehensive data on patients' health (from patients and/or family members); Analyze data to determine needs.
- Review medical clearances and patient medical history to confirm appropriate clearances and approvals prior to surgery
- Report and medical clearances to director or nursing and/or administrative team
- Communicate with clinics and offices regarding items needed for patient to be cleared
- Delivering excellent customer service, establishing and maintaining an organized professional environment.
- Integrate patient care standards in all clinical activities; participate in performance improvement activities to improve patient safety, quality of care and patient outcomes
- Promote a supportive and team-oriented environment
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- You have 1+ years of experience as an LPN experience
- Extensive knowledge of medical diagnosis and medications that correlate with diagnosis'
- Surgical Center or Hospital experience preferred
- You've completed an LPN program and are licensed and approved by the State LPN Board
- You're detail oriented and a strong communicator
