Job Type Full-time, Part-time Description Primary Location: Camp Lejeune, NC Must be a U.S Citizen Security Clearance: Top Secret This position is contingent on Contract Award Are you interested in working with some of the world's most motivated learners, and operations and intelligence professionals on a mission of national importance? Come join Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG). The Marine Special Operations Teams (MSOT) Operations-Intelligence SNCO Course (MOISC), Instructor will provide part-time support to the Marine Raider Regiment, ensuring all Critical Skills Operators 0372 Marines filling the Ops-Intel SNCO Billet are trained to the highest standards of readiness prior to worldwide deployment in SOF specific and Joint Operating Environments. You will collaborate with active-duty Marine CSOs and other service members internal and external to the organization. The MOISC, SOCS-I Instructor will aid the MOISC contractor Project Lead, Course Lead and other Staff Instructors in developing and executing the MOISC. The SOCS-I Instructor will be exposed to the Agile program management approach and the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) instructional design model. The MOISC SOCS-I Instructor will coordinate with the Course, and other staff members and instructors to consistently support training and education program materials and methods with stated objectives. The MOISC SOCS-I Instructor will take part in reviews of course and program elements and make recommendations and adjustments as applicable. The MOISC SOCS-I Instructor will also be certified as a Joint Network Analysis & Targeting Instructor (JNAT-I) to support the customer requirements and will have other opportunities to instruct outside of this contract. The MOISC SOCS-I Instructor works with the Quality Assurance designs to ensure that improved methods and processes follow published regulations. Specific Responsibilities Work closely with the Project Lead and Course Lead and other instructors, to develop and execute the MOISC.
Provide holistic intelligence discipline insight and expertise across the range of the joint function.
Provide intelligence tools and processes knowledge and expertise.
Continuously integrate critical thinking, analytical thinking, and structured analytical techniques.
Participate in education and training events, using provided instructor and student materials, evaluations, and engage students using alternate learning methods.
Execute, and assess student training across throughout the Course and in follow on evaluations. Work with contractor Staff Instructors, Staff Support and subject matter experts to train target audience and specific training needs of the MOISC.
Requirements Familiarity in supporting and or collaborating with the U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations Command and other DoD services.
Must have excellent written and oral communications skills. Must possess self-motivation and a high level of discretion to work effectively.
Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail.
Former Marine intelligence MOS SNCO, Officer or Warrant Officer executing MOS responsibilities of a SOCS-I in related field for a minimum of 8 years. Work experience executing intel operations with both SOF Specific and Conventional Forces and training, instruction, assessments, and performance evaluation systems.
Experience supporting US MARSOC, Marine Corps or DoD Intelligence int operations and training at the Battalion Level or higher is required, or at a formal DoD school in preferred.
Experience supporting SOF operations and training is required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment Garrison work environment including but not limited to: occasional field/tactical environments occasional extended working hours may be required schedule: M-F 0700 to 1700 Travel Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.
