Summary: The Center for Digital Equity (CDE) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Board and Team Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization by providing comprehensive support to both our executive boards and internal teams. As a Board and Team Manager, you will serve as an essential link between senior management, staff, and external stakeholders. Your exceptional multitasking abilities and strong communication skills will contribute to the efficient operations of the Center for Digital Equity. This is a grant funded full-time benefits eligible position and is expected to continue through June 30, 2026.

This position reports to the Director of Operations for the Center for Digital. This position is exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible to earn overtime pay for hours worked above 40 in a single work week. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Board Liaison

Act as the primary liaison between board members and the organization

Facilitate communication between internal teams, board members, and external stakeholders, ensuring messages are conveyed accurately and efficiently.

Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to board members, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing materials for board meetings.

Maintain accurate records of board and team meetings, draft meeting minutes, and prepare reports to document key decisions and action items.

Ensure timely communication and facilitating the dissemination of information to all relevant parties.

Team Support and Office Management

Provide general administrative support to internal teams, including managing team calendars, shared team email inboxes, coordinating team events, and handling team-related communications.

Arrange and coordinate meetings for both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring all logistics, resources, and materials are prepared in advance.

Support maintenance and process improvement for team-wide digital software, such as project management systems and document storage repositories

Organize travel arrangements for board members and team members, including booking flights, accommodations, and other necessary arrangements.

Oversee office operations, including maintaining office supplies, handling incoming/outgoing mail, and managing office equipment and facilities.

Support onboarding and offboarding staff

Project Management

Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to assist in project planning and measurement

Report project progress to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.

Assist in managing the budget for board activities and team events, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and reporting any discrepancies to senior management.

Non-Essential Duties:

Other duties and special projects may be assigned to meet department and/or university needs.
